welcome to saint james

Whether you are a life-long believer or a seeker who is just beginning to
ask questions about God, we would love for Saint James to be your church home.
We believe that God values every person, which motivates us to value your
presence on campus with us each week. We hope that you feel welcomed and
accepted when you visit us here at the corner of Vaughn and Ryan Road.

what to expect

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable while you're worshiping with us. On a normal Sunday, you'll find people in shorts and flip flops, or a suit and tie. Wear whatever makes you most comfortable. You might notice that our 11:00 am traditional folks like to dress a bit more classy!

Where do I park?

We have plenty of parking at our campus, but if you happen to have children we recommend using the parking close to the Ryan Road entrance. There are special places to park for handicap drivers, seniors, expectant mothers and first-time guests. There are also two covered entrances to drop off passengers.

Where do I bring my children?

We have a Children's Ministry entrance off Ryan Road that is perfect for young families to enter.  We provide childcare and programming for infants through fifth graders, and have a nursing room for new mothers. As you enter, you'll be greeted by our Children's Ministry team who will direct you to our registration stations. After dropping off the children, stop by the Cafe to grab free coffee before worship.

Where do I worship?

The 8:00 and 11:00 am services meet in the Traditional Worship center. The 9:30 am service meets in the Contemporary Worship center. Click here to see our building map.

How do I know which worship service is for me?

We believe it is important to provide worship experiences for people who enjoy different styles and traditions.

  • 8:00 Tapestry, blended service: If you prefer something in between, you might enjoy our 8:00 am blended style worship service. You can expect a small worship band that plays a mixture of contemporary music, hymns, and other traditional elements of worship. We partake together in the Lord's Supper (communion) each week.
  • 9:30 Encounter, contemporary service: In this service, you'll experience high-energy music led by the worship band.  We strive to provide a fresh and exciting time to encounter Jesus while also hearing life-applicable messages.
  • 11:00 Traditions, traditional service: If you enjoy deep-rooted traditions, with a choir and hymns, then our traditional worship service at 11:00 am is a great choice!
