24 Hours That Changed the World

[Lenten Message Series Feb. 21 – April 4, 2010]

 

No single event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth.  In this Lenten message series we will walk, step by step, through the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life.

 

Each message is designed to help you experience and understand the significance of Jesus’ suffering and death in a way you never have before.  Whether you are a longtime Christian or simply curious about the story of Christ’s crucifixion, you are invited to join us on this inspiring journey as we explore together the 24 hours that changed the world. 

 

For this series we have partnered with my friend, Adam Hamilton, Senior Pastor at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas.  Adam has written a book on these last 24 hours that changed the world, and he has developed a first class DVD small group study series (shot on location in Jerusalem) that many of our SJ Life Groups are using as well.  Many United Methodist churches around the USA will be joining with us on this journey together.

 

I am praying and expecting God to do great things in your life and mine as we examine this one day in the life of the one and only Jesus Christ.
