1. Children’s Sunday School Teachers – Individuals possessing a love for children, we want your gift of presence. We need Sunday School teachers for ages 4 & 5 and 1st, 2nd & 4th grades. Contact Cindy Stafford 481-0735.
2. Kitchen Kut-Ups – need both men and women who love to cook, have fun and serve others; this ministry prepares meals for Wednesday night suppers and other special events here at the church. Contact Penny McKee 271-4266.
3. Media Team – This team ministers during services in the areas of running the sound board, computer, lights and cameras. We are always in need of extra help! No experience is necessary – and we promise it is much easier that you would think! Contact Vaughn Stafford 481-0740.
4. Mission Trips – Whether you choose to serve on a local international mission team, God will meet you in a very special way. Don’t concern yourself with what you have to offer, you will return with more than you could have ever imagined. 5. Saint James Prayer Ministry – Teams of volunteers needed to assist in the prayer room on Sunday mornings. Teams needed to pray with worship team and pastors before services. 6. Upward Soccer – We need help in all areas from marketing to coaching to referees, and you don’t need to know anything about soccer. Contact Brad Goode 481-0742.
7. Greeters – Serve one Sunday a month by welcoming everyone to Saint James! Contact Brad Goode 481-0742.
8. Saint James Bookstore – The bookstore is currently open limited hours, but as we grow and have more volunteers, these hours will expand. We would love to have you be a part of our team. Contact Dawn Barkalow 272-3323.
9. Celebrate Recovery – Men and women needed who will come to offer hope, encouragement and love to hurting people. They need to rub shoulders with people who love Jesus. Meetings are 6:30-8:15 Wednesday nights in the Korean Modular behind the Rock House. Contact Walter Albritton 546-4719.
10. WIM – 1) Kate’s Closet – help is needed on Sat. mornings from 9:00-11:00. Help is also needed in assisting parolees on an on-call basis. Two hours every 4 to 6 weeks can bring such a joy to those we serve and to each volunteer also. Contact Penelope Poitevint 244-5078. 2) Raggedy Angels Ministry – This ministry makes Raggedy Ann/Andy dolls for needy children.
